In 1979, PAMP Suisse became the first refiner to introduce minted ingots featuring intricate design elements. The figure of Lady Fortuna was chosen due to her strong association with prosperity, rooted in ancient Roman religion and mythology. Fortuna, the goddess of fortune, luck, and fate, takes her name from the Latin word “fortuna”, meaning “luck” or “chance.”

The 5 Gram PAMP Suisse Lady Fortuna Veriscan 45th Anniversary Gold Bars are securely packaged in sealed CertiPAMP assay cards, specially designed for the 45th anniversary. Each bar is encased in protective plastic within the anniversary-themed card for added safety and authenticity.

On the obverse side, the bar displays the PAMP Suisse logo at the top, accompanied by the piece’s identifying hallmarks in the center. An assayer’s mark is placed at the bottom, certifying the quality and purity of the gold.

The reverse side features the iconic image of Lady Fortuna, rendered in stunning left-profile relief. She is depicted blindfolded, symbolizing impartiality, alongside her traditional attributes: sheaves of wheat, poppies, a horn of plenty overflowing with wealth, precious coins, and the wheel of fortune, representing the cyclical nature of fate and fortune.
